Hello Steven, I hope all is well. I wasn’t sure which box to check. I am not a current client. I see you have done well with your business. Good for you. So the reason I am contacting you is because my current hair stylist is out for surgery. And so temporarily (not sure how long) need to find somewhere to go. I would prefer to go to you since I know you (back in the day) and great reviews! But I see you currently are not taking any clients on. If can refer to someone or if you have a cancellation, postponement, and you can lmk last minute I would like to work with you. I live in Ware, Ma. So let me tell you what I’m concerned about. I generally get a full set of highlights, since my roots pull some red, I suppose can be tricky. Or maybe it’s a piece of cake to you. That’s all! If at all you could consider I can come in to get your opinion on hair ahead of time. Or if you can recommend someone. I appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you, Dee

This is the most amazing gem of a salon. I have been going to Changes for almost 20 years and have lived in New York, LA, DC and other places. Steven and Edward are masters at what they do, consummate professionals, and they are such wonderful people and great company.

Another great experience at Changes Salon. Steven gave me a long needed cut. He was extremely communicative to figure out exactly what I wanted before we started. I had visited Changes in the past when I lived closer, but had not been back for a few years. I was very happy to see that they were still in business and still doing great work. I have never had a bad haircut at Changes and the haircuts are very reasonably priced. Now I feel ready to face the world again, Post-Covid. Thank you for cleaning up my ends Steven! I will be back.

I've tried so many stylists in the valley and have wanted to stay with one permanently. But, it seems like everyone except the Changes staff was trained at Chameleon's and they all make the same mistakes with simple haircuts. Steven is completely different. He knew exactly what to do with my combination hair. He studied it, moved it around, and then told me what he thought. He was exactly right! My hair looks fantastic and is easy to manage. Thank you Steven!

I have been a client at Changes Salon for approximately 10 years! I look forward to each and every appointment because I know I will receive an outstanding experience, and gorgeous hair. Stephen, who is one of the owners, is an expert colorist, and was able to do the color and highlights with foil exactly the way I had wanted. The salon uses high quality products and you can really tell by the outcome. The salon is very well appointed with stylish decor, and the staff is always kind, courteous and professional. It is in an ideal location being right downtown NoHo! I always treat myself after my appointment with a stroll over to Thornes Market and a coffee at Tarte! I can’t speak highly enough of what an all around fabulous salon Changes is! I always feel so refreshed and ready to take on the world when I leave, not to mention how nice it is to receive the many compliments I always receive on my hair! Wow! Changes is a top notch spot! I have been seeing Kurt for 3 years or so regularly, and he is amazing. I also notice how professional, talented and friendly the other hair stylists are: Abbie, Alyssa and Sara. (I hope I'm not missing anyone!) I have never seen anyone leave feeling unhappy with their experience. I notice that the stylists spend a good amount of time communicating with the clients in order to have a clear understanding of what each client wants. The only thing I would ask is that you get back to stocking Agave syrup for the coffee. It makes all the difference! Thanks!!! Actually a Keurig would be nice, not that I'm fussy about my coffee (ahem!). Also, another perk is after I am done I can go over to Artisan Gallery (NOT Kathy Cross) and check out cute clothes to go with my cute haircut. As if on cue they always comment on how nice my hair looks. Not that I am overly concerned about my looks! Thanks everyone!! Elizabeth Ammon
